Golf in Oakwood continues to be the No. 1 favorite pastime. MOGA play is no exception. We have a multitude of events for players of all skill levels.
MOGA Club Championship and Super Senior Championship: In February, MOGA held its annual Club Championship tournament. In the end, Garry Loncon was awarded the 2018 Club Champion with a two-round total of 150.
Congratulations also go to Ed Thorn our Super Senior Champion for MOGA. His two-round total of 181 was enough to take the prize.

Member/Guest on March 29th was a huge success. We had over 70 players including a couple of spouses as guests. Great prizes and new friends!
Volunteers Wanted: We continue to look for people to assist with MOGA club activities. Please contact Doug Braun if you would like to assist.
Presidents Cup: Dan Muth. Dan won the President’s Cup in a two-hole playoff with Dale Goodwin. His two-day total was a net 134.
Events: If you have never played in a Home and Home tournament you should try one! You will have another chance in April. It is a great way to meet some new “friends” and compete against others. April 12 and 14 will be with Cottonwood. Come join the FUN! Applications available on the MOGA website.

MOGA Membership: New to the area or just looking for a great way to spend time on the course and meet some new friends? Why not join MOGA (Men’s Oakwood Golf Association)! We have over 350 members with golfers at every level. Play is every Thursday with a morning and afternoon shotgun start for you to choose from. Membership application is available on the MOGA website, http://www.mogagolf.org/application_2018.pdf. Members can select which tees to play from – Blue, White, Silver and Yellow. The third Thursday of every month is MOGA golfer appreciation day with a free beer or soft drinks for MOGA members at the Oakwood Pro Shop.
