The Mosaic Class will be taught by David Jarvinen. David is a mosaic artist and teacher. He teaches mosaic art in fun and engaging environments, focusing on technique and project-based classes geared to all levels of crafters.

Bird Sculpture – Wednesday, October 10, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Ceramics Room, Oakwood. This little fella will challenge your mosaic skills. While nipping glass tiles is fairly easy, designing and working on a 3D object is where the challenge is. Join us to learn how to design and create “in the round” and mosaic a wonderful ceramic bird base measuring approximately 6”x8”x6” that will be great for indoor or outdoor display.

The cost is $75 per person, and all materials and tools are included. Please bring a lunch or snack.

To sign up for class, go to Oakwood.

For more information, call Janet Hayes at 480-650-7303 or Sandy Holmes at 520-603-4446.
