The Mutual of Omaha team, managed by Mike Gloyd, edged out Manager Gary Hillabolt’s A-1 Golf Carts squad to win the Session Two Winter League pennant. Mutual of Omaha finished with a 14-6 won-lost record while A-1 went 13-7. Five hitters had averages of over .700 through the winter session. Larry Kaufmann and Bill Whitely were both at an even .800 to tie for the league lead. Other .700 plus hitters (with a minimum of 90 at bats) were Steve Hilby (.777), Tim Loeffler (.747) and Chuck Myrick (.711).
The Session Three Spring League is now well underway. Terry and Susan Young’s West USA Realty team and the Brenden Financial Planning team were both off to fast starts with 5-1 records.
