How long has it been since you learned something that amazed you; that got you excited; that made you want to learn more? This is want happens each day at New Adventures in Learning classes for seniors. This summer there are 40 different classes to choose from including Intro to Bridge, Discussing Shakespeare’s Hamlet, Annuities, Robert E Lee and His High Command, How Colors Affect You and many more. There is something for everyone at New Adventures in Learning. Please join us for our summer open house to see what New Adventures has to offer on Wednesday, May 11 from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the Chandler-Gilbert Community College’s Sun Lakes Center, 25105 South Alma School Road.
If you are currently a member and wish to register for summer classes or have heard about New Adventures and have been thinking about joining, the summer open house is for you.
Current Members: What you need to bring to the open house – $15 check made out to Chandler-Gilbert Community College, photo ID to have on file with the college throughout the time you take classes. Members are encouraged to have their ID copied at the Sun Lakes Center prior to the open house so they do not have to wait in line on the day of registration.
Members unable to attend the open house may sign up after May 11 at the Sun Lakes Center.
New Members: What you need to bring to the open house – $15 check made out to Chandler-Gilbert Community College; $50 check for annual membership fee to New Adventures in Learning; photo ID to have on file with the college throughout the time classes are taken.
The advantage to becoming a member in the summer is that you receive an extra semester of membership because your annual membership does not expire until September 2017.
