The Lucky Shot Pool Club welcomes eight new and returning members as the club begins competition in its 2016-17 tournament season.
The new members are Joe Igelmund, Mike Currier, Bobby Holland, Greg Dowling, Scott McMasters, Dave Marcus and Curtiss Stearns. They are joined by Red Boyles, a former member who is returning for the fall tournament. The tournament features 10 members competing in two 9-Ball pockets and 32 members competing in five 8-Ball pockets.
The fall tournament started November 1 and will run through December 10. The club also offers competition in a winter tournament running from January 1, 2017 to February 10 and a spring tournament starting March 1 and ending April 10.
The regular season ends with an awards meeting in late April. Two summer tournaments are scheduled from June 1 to July 10 and August 1 to September 10.
All Sun Lakes residents are eligible to play in any of the club’s tournaments.
