Sun Lakes Community Theatre officially opened its new 2023-24 season with a social hour before the general meeting recently. President Greg Posniack had plenty of announcements to share with the membership, including the upcoming fall production of Rex’s Exes, beginning Nov. 15 through Nov. 19; a brand-new event, the Winter Dinner & Variety Show that SLCT is sponsoring on Jan. 16 and 17, 2024; Children’s Theatre’s elementary school performances of Horton Hatches the Egg, running Jan. 9 through March 7, 2024; the spring production of The Fox on the Fairway, slated for April 24 through April 26, 2024; and the summer production of Murder at the Café Noir, running July 24 through July 28, 2024.

After the business part of the meeting, The ImproVables invited attendees to join them in a couple of their games, Park Bench and Sound Effects, giving SLCT members a chance to experience how improvisation works.
