As a proud part of the Sun Lakes community, Renaissance always strives to offer the very best in luxury, all-inclusive senior living. Keeping with tradition, we have a lot of new, exciting projects to share with you!
In the last year, Renaissance has added over $100K in campus beautification projects and will continue to do so throughout 2021. We take pride in our campus, and we want to reflect a community which offers an active-adult lifestyle while interweaving the unique needs of our residents throughout. We also started remodeling our spacious apartments with $50-$60K in upgrades in each unit. The upgrades include three different color schemes with stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, luxury, vinyl plank flooring, and zero-entry showers. One resident describes the new accommodations as “the epitome of luxury.”
One of the main reasons people are eager to move into an all-inclusive senior living community is for the dining experience! We want to elevate the experience for our residents and guests by remodeling our Independent Living dining room and adding more options! We will be expanding our pub area, while adding a coffee bar as well as a pizza oven. We will also be adding a self-service grab ‘n’ go market, so residents can conveniently grab a meal while on the run. Examples of items our market will include are items like yogurt parfaits, salads, fresh fruit cups, hummus dips, carryout sandwiches, and ready-to-drink beverages!
Keeping with modern senior living, Renaissance is focusing on seniors living longer and stronger; therefore, we are expanding our Life Enrichment program. Our focus is not only games and physical fitness, but we want to incorporate cognitive engagement for our residents as well. This variety of programming will allow staff to customize programs to match the ability level of our residents. If anything, this past year has taught us that cognitive stimulation is equally, if not more important than physical activity, and the combination of both can only result in a better, stronger mind, body, and spirit.
Renaissance is also extremely proud to announce that through the hard work and diligence of our Health Services Administrator Lance Williams, starting on Monday, Jan. 18, all residents and staff who have consented will receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination. We are excited to resume and improve the “user experience” of everyone connected with our community: residents, families, and staff.
So many positive changes in store for Renaissance coming this year in amenities, convenience, and programming that it is only fitting that we change our name as well! What could it ever be? Stay tuned in the next couple of months, and you will find out!
