Joyce Weary

Members of the Oakwood Artists League (OAL) met in December for an end of the year photo-op and 2017 officer election in the Oakwood Arts and Crafts Building. The officers for 2017 are President Joyce Weary, Vice President Kay Blas, Secretary Suzie Lynch and Treasurer Diane Hitt.

Last spring in mid-March through April of 2016, 19 OAL members were featured in Art in the Spotlight, a Visual Art Exhibit at ASU Gammage.

There are 35 members in OAL, founded in 1999, who meet on Fridays to paint. If you have experience in watercolor, acrylic, oil, colored pencil, mixed media, collage, pen and ink, pastel, or graphite and are interested in joining our group, please stop in the Art and Framing Room on a Friday or contact Joyce at 480-802-9643 for more information.
