The reward for playing in the Aug. 16 heat was having POD of “Christmas in August” where everybody won money. The big winners in the first flight were Shirley Weaver (first), Nancy Cohn (second), and Sue Pederson (third). Tied for first place in the second flight were Janey Garibay and Terry Jung, and tied for third were Debbie Horner and Joann Rebillard.

On Aug. 23 we played Ghost holes. Siri picked the holes that counted after play was over. Mary Perry won first in the first flight, Kelley Wojack was second, and Dang Teater was third. In the second flight, Beth Ebmeier and Dari Akin tied for first, and third was won by Terry Jung.

Players got to replay one shot every hole, if needed, on Aug. 30. Flight 1 was won by Eun Yoon, and tied for second were Sue Pederson and Kelley Wojack. In Flight 2, Kathy Burns won first place, followed by Terry Jung in second and Dari Akin in third.

All the net pars were counted on Sept. 6. Kelley Wojack was the big winner in the first flight. Second place was Glo Malmberg, and tied for third were Leslie Smith, Eun Yoon, and Shirley Weaver. In the second flight Terry Jung was first, and tied for second were Phyllis D’Amore, Dari Akin, and Debbie Horner.

OLGA will be on break for overseeding during the month of October, and play will resume in November.
