The Oakwood Ladies Golf Association (OLGA) installed their new board at a luncheon held after the fun member/member tournament on December 13, 2016. Winners of that tournament were the parings of Mary Dryseth and Pat Mattz who tied with Lois Foerster and Iris Patti in the first flight, Shirley Weaver and Debbie Horner in the second flight, Phyllis D’Amore and Fran Morin in the third flight and Kathy Schnell and Betty Schecter in the fourth flight.

At this writing, we are in the middle of our Low Net Tournament, the OLGA Cup. In February, we will play for the Club Championship and March brings on the always exciting and fun Member/Guest Tournament. Our match play tournament will be getting underway as well. The OLGA Ladies always have a schedule full of fun games and camaraderie. We welcome new members. If you are new to Sun Lakes and would like to get involved, we have registration sheets in the computer room of the Pro Shop at Oakwood.

Flight 2 – Pat Mattz, Judy Kirschenbaum, Shirley Weaver, Barbara Anderson and Colleen Ritter. Flight 3 – Sandra Knight, Kathy Burns, Julie Hastings and Kathy Schnell. Flight 4 – Karen Welker, Linda Thrash, Pat Schepp and Eleanor Mccann. Flight 5 – Betty Schecter, Jimmie Maramonte, Barbara Klemstine and Carol Jones. January 10; Low Net; Flight 1 – Judy Darnell, Cindy Reinerstein, Mary Figgis and Lois Foerster. Flight 2 – BJ Schuller, Shirley Weaver, Pat Mattz, Dari Akin, Barbara Anderson and Dang Teater. Flight 3 – Marilyn Morgan, Debbie Horner, Candy Watkinson and Julie Hastings. Flight 4 Gail Moen, Linda Thrash, Kathy Schenll and Sandra Knight. Flight 5 – Nancy Annen, Liz Pritchard, Joann Zerwekh and Mary Jane Boscombe.
