Toasty temperatures and Monsoon season! What more could we possibly want? Life is good!

While some of us explore the air-conditioned interiors of countless venues in the valley while waiting for sundown, sometimes even leaving the area for short periods, our intrepid warriors continue to do battle each Saturday morning!

We are more than pleased to report the results of their efforts:

On Saturday, May 12, a 2 Man 1 BB Net event was won by Flight 1: (0-18) – Bob Schaedel and Steve Ryland, with a score of 51 and Flight 2: (19 and up) – Bob Rouleau and Tom Jeub, with a score of 42.

On Saturday, May 19, the PVMGA Ace of Aces’ Qualifier Tournament was held, with the following winners:

Flight 1 – Gross: Jack Hill – 67; Net: Vic Lesch – 59

Flight 2 – Gross: Jim Mottern, Gerald Brock (tied) – 74; Net: Peter Gorman, Don Hicks (tied) – 60

Flight 3 – Gross: Jim Wedeward – 74; Net – Gary Zahnow – 57

Flight 4 – Gross: Dick Hollenbaugh – 78; Net – Arnie Pinsly – 54

On Saturday, May 26, a Select-a-Drive Triple 6 ended in a three-way tie with scores of 87! The winners: Daryl Ramseyer, James Granzow, Neal Robbins and Larry Chidester; Gary Chadwell, Ken Nelson, Jim Roberts and Arnie Pinsly; John Mitchell, Ron Cox, Charlie Sivertson and Jeff Martin.

On Saturday, June 2, a Regular Scramble contest was won by Daryl Ramseyer, Adrian Barber, Woody Neiman and Larry Chidester.

On Saturday, June 9, a 3 Net BB’s game was won by Tony Hames, Rich Griffis, Dick Hollenbaugh and Bob Lawson, with a score of 169!
