The Restless Minds discussion group will discuss the consequential – and perhaps the just plain interesting – events of 2017 at its December meeting.

The group will meet from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 12, in the Sewing Room of Oakwood’s Arts and Crafts Center.

It has been a momentous year. Discussion will surely center on such developments as the Trump presidency, mass shootings, choice of a new Supreme Court justice, backing away from the Paris climate accord, renewed emphasis on a border wall and a crackdown on illegal immigration and the ongoing issue of possible Russian involvement in our electoral process.

The Restless Minds group is receptive to all people with open, inquisitive minds. There are no dues or membership requirements. All political and social points of view are encouraged to engage in this friendly exchange of ideas each month. Just show up and participate.

For more information on the group, contact Bill Gates or Bobbie Reed at 480-883-7410. v
