Restless Minds to look at how artificial intelligence is shaping our world

The Restless Minds discussion group will tackle the issue of artificial intelligence when the group meets at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 12, in the Sewing Room of Oakwood’s Arts & Crafts Center.

Discussion leader John Brasch points out that from determining the price of your next airline ticket to delivering your package from Amazon to performing your next knee surgery, AI, or Artificial Intelligence, is shaping our world. Some experts say it may issue in a golden age of humanity. Others say it may kill us. Is it truly “the last invention of humankind” or merely a tool to make life better?

Join us as we discuss some of the ramifications of perhaps the most significant technological development in human history. Attendees are encouraged to review the topic on You Tube and be ready for a lively discussion.

All people with open, inquisitive minds are invited to attend Restless Minds discussions. There are no dues or advance signups; just show up and participate.
