The Restless Minds discussion group will meet exactly one week after one of the most contentious presidential elections in American history.
The group, which has been meeting monthly for more than 20 years, will explore what happened and what it will mean for the country over the next four years and beyond.
Because of ongoing coronavirus dangers, this will again be a Zoom meeting. It’s scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 10. Those already on the club’s email list will automatically receive sign-in information. Others who may wish to participate should send an email to [email protected] by Nov. 9.
Restless Minds is a monthly discussion group welcoming all people with open, inquisitive minds.
Expected to be major topics of discussion are President Trump’s personal COVID-19 struggle, and the impact of the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court.
Discussion won’t be limited to the presidential race. We’ll certainly look at the election’s impact on Congress and the Arizona State Legislature, both of which could see major changes.
