April 29-May 11 Viking Cruises Rhine Rhapsody hosted by Janet Rose and Dianne Burns; 10 days with Paris – Sail the Rhine River and spend a few nights in Paris.
May 22-June 3 – 12 nights – Rome to Istanbul on Oceania Cruises –Sirena, a new ship to Oceania w/650 passengers; $40 million refurbishment. Ports of Call include Sorrento, Amalfi, Sardinia, Trapani, Sicily, Malta, Crete, Greek Isles including Santorini, Mykonos and Ephesus. Arriving in Istanbul on June 2 and overnight. Departure June 3; air and free internet included; four free shore excursions; gratuities included, $200 onboard credit as well as all specialty dining included. Hosted cocktail party included – currently have 14 people booked; – Jeanette and Ray Rajamaki hosting.
September 17-October 6 – 17 days on a grand European river cruise – Budapest to Amsterdam with Belgium – Viking Cruises. Hosted by John and Patty Kear; limited space with reduced air, with $$$ off and $150 onboard credit; six people booked.
Africa – Spring of 2017 – 17 days – three nights in Zimbabwe, six nights in Botswana, two nights in Cape Town, three nights at The Nature Conservancy and 3 nights at the Sabi Sands near Krueger. We are limited to 24 people.
The club is working on a cruise to Cuba – we are trying for October 2, 2016; for the first time ever a ship has been approved to travel to Cuba starting in May 2016.
