On Sept. 24 the challenging Pick Your Partner Team Low Gross/Low Net using an alternate shot format. The team chooses who will tee off on the odd and even holes, and then they alternate shots until the ball is holed.

October saw both Palo Verde and Cottonwood golf courses being overseeded for fall, winter, and spring play, but several competitions were played before and after overseed. The monthly Ace of Aces Qualifier will be played, as well as joint Palo Verde/Cottonwood teams playing against the club pros, CMGA and PVMGA, and the course superintendents. CMGA welcomes back our winter homeowners and looks forward to seeing you on the course.
