The Oct. 14 meeting had more of our snowbirds back with us! Glad you are back. We have great programs and events planned for this season. Our sewing retreat up in Prescott is Oct. 28 to Nov. 1. We will have more to share from this event next month!
Members: now through the end of December, remember to renew your membership! We are 156 members strong!
Our October presenter was Laurie Fagen, a mix media artist who showed us her designs using polymer clay to make interesting and decorative buttons. We enjoyed her very creative talent she shared with us.
November and December have several member class projects open for sign up at the meetings and on the email calendar. Please sign up with the instructors if you have not already done so, you don’t want to miss out!
December also has our Christmas program luncheon to be held at the Palo Verde restaurant. We look forward to entertainment and a wonderful lunch. Get your reservation at the November meeting at the latest.
The club once again is hosting a raffle this year for a Husqvarna Viking Serger Model 905. New in box! Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. Raffle will be from November through January, with drawing at the end of the Jan. 9 meeting.
