The opening day of the Sun Lakes Pitch and Putt League was on Thursday, January 4, 2018. Thirty women enjoyed the warm sunshine, the camaraderie and the game of golf on the Pitch and Putt course behind Sun Lakes Country Club.

There was a tie for first place with a team score of 24. Team 1: Kathy Lyons, Jane Parker, Sue Miller and Mary Harper. Team 2: Rose Gallagher, Jolene Vermeire, Linda Welchlin and Janice Cosgrove.

On Thursday, January 11, 2018, we again had a tie for first place with a team score of 23. Team 1: Janice Cosgrove, Jo Solie, LouAnn Olson and Rose Gallagher. Team 2: Mary Harper, Sue Miller, Elayne Hested and Jan Sykes.

Our end-of-the-season breakfast is scheduled for March 22, 2018, in the Navajo Room at Sun Lakes Country Club. Check in for golf will be at 8:30 a.m., and golf will begin at 9:00 a.m. on that day only.

Remember, if it’s raining, we don’t play!
