Nine members of Sun Lakes Community Theatre (SLCT) enjoyed learning a lot about color correction, contouring, highlighting, aging, and other wonderful hacks, tricks, and tips for theatrical makeup application. Each participant received a professional pallet of grease paint (true stage makeup), a 22-piece brush set, and a two-sided mirror (20x magnification). But more importantly, they had fun! A lot of sharing, laughing, and teasing went on, and all agreed that the workshop was well worth the investment. When finished, each person said they felt they had learned enough to do their own and/or someone else’s stage makeup for future productions. Yay!
