The Sun Lakes Jewish Congregation Sisterhood Board members have been busy planning a very exciting year of events. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, Oct. 15 in the Chapel Center at 1 p.m. Our speaker will be a representative from St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Light refreshments will be served. Mark your calendars for the following events: On Tuesday, Nov. 10 (not on our usual Thursday date), our own Cantor Ronda Polesky will be our guest speaker. In December we will celebrate Hanukkah at our regular meeting on Thursday, Dec. 17. Save the date of Monday, Feb. 22 for Games Galore at the Oakwood clubhouse. This is our annual fundraiser when we have fabulous gift baskets, a cash raffle, a delicious lunch, and a bake sale of home-baked goodies. We will also have the Sisterhood Shabbat on April 3 at the Poolside Café at Oakwood. More information will be provided in future editions of the Splash.
