We had our first rehearsal on Oct. 4 and, oh, it was wonderful—wonderful to gather again, wonderful to see fellow singers, and absolutely wonderful to be singing again. After almost 19 months, we are finally back and getting into the groove.

Our Christmas music has been dusted off and distributed, and practice number 1 went very well! We always take great pride in giving a solid performance with the intent being that we want all of you, our friends, neighbors, family, and supporters, to get into the Christmas spirit. So, the hard work for us has begun. It is a slightly abbreviated practice schedule due to that nasty old coronavirus and the havoc it has caused, but we promise to dig in so as not to disappoint.

The Christmas Concert is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 9, at the United Methodist Church on Riggs, west of Dobson. We hope all of the readers out there will plan on attending. Advance ticket sales will be available, as always, at the Ace Hardware on the following days: Tuesday, Nov. 23; Tuesday, Nov. 30; and Tuesday, Dec. 7.

Of course, tickets will be available soon from any Chorale member, and there are always a few tickets for sale at the door on concert night.
