The next Democratic Club meeting will be a Zoom virtual meeting on Monday, June 14, beginning at 6:30 p.m. for social, and the meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Our speakers will be:

Bob McWhirter, Constitutional Lawyer

Mr. McWhirter will provide a history of insurrections in America, as was experienced in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, when Congress was stormed and entered.

Heather Macre, member of the Central Arizona Water Conservation Board, Maricopa County

Ms. Macre sits on the CAP board and will address the water issues that Maricopa County residents may face as our drought continues to impact the Colorado River Basin.

Jennifer Pawlik, AZ House Representative, LD 17.

Rep. Pawlik will give an update on what is happening at the AZ Legislature—new bills still alive, those passed and signed into law, along with the next state budget and what it means to us as her constituents.
