The regular monthly Shabbat service for May will be held on May 10 at 7 p.m., remembering Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) and honoring Mother’s Day. Full services are conducted each month starting in September, except for July and August, on the second Friday of the month at 7 p.m. at the Sun Lakes Chapel. SLJC will be having a fundraiser at Chompie’s on Thursday, May 16. Between 4 and 8 p.m., the restaurant will donate 15% of all meals purchased by diners who present the fundraiser flyer to the server.
