Brunchies is part of the Serrano’s Mexican Food Restaurant, a popular family-owned business dating back to 1929; what used to be their clothing department store is now their breakfast and lunch restaurant located on Arizona Avenue and Boston in downtown Chandler.

The food was excellent, the service was great and friendly and we enjoyed the time spent there.

Our activities for February included a mid-month outing to Fiesta Mexicana located at 4949 S. Alma School Rd. in Chandler. The restaurant is owned by Martin and Patricia Rangel who moved to the States from Jalisco, Mexico and decided to start their own restaurant based on authentic flavors of Mexico.

Guest speaker for our March 1 meeting is Rabbi Bonder, a young assistant rabbi and educator at Temple Emanuel in Tempe. He plans on talking about his path to the rabbinate and how he played in the Israel Baseball League for one year.
