The Niners enjoyed a wonderful Christmas Party on December 8 in the Navajo Room. The Sunset Grill served a delicious meal, and several attendees were recipients of the table centerpieces which were lighted snowmen arranged in the center of a garland of holly.

For the last five or six weeks, the game of golf has been made challenging with a variety of different types of games. These were not only fun, but gave the new members an opportunity to establish handicaps making them eligible to play in the Niners’ major tournaments.

Following are some of the activities planned for the next few months. The January general meeting has been changed from January 8 to January 15 at 10:00 a.m. Please take note of the change and attend so you will be informed of the activities planned for the group. There will be a Partner Scramble on January 29 at 3:30 p.m., when you may bring a guest to golf with you. Golfing will be followed by a meal at Mulligans. This event will take the place of the regular league play that day.

On February 26, there will be a Home and Home at SunBird with their Lady Niners group. We have received invitations from Apache Wells and Ironwood Niners to attend their Invitationals in March. Watch for the announcements which will be on the Niner’s bulletin board and in your emails.
