Hugh O’Brian Youth (HOBY) is a premier youth leadership organization whose annual seminar programs allow high school sophomores to realize their leadership talents and apply them in becoming effective, ethical leaders in their home, schools, workplaces, and community.

Students attend four-day seminars and participate in hands-on leadership activities, meet leaders in their state, and explore their own leadership skills, while learning how to make a positive impact in their community.

Programs are also provided for high school freshmen, juniors, and seniors.

HOBY annually instructs 250 to 300 Arizona students.

Sun Lakes Breakfast Lion Club (SLBLC) Treasurer Kay Glantz presented a check from the SLBLC to the Chordaires show chorus singing group to help them get restarted with their shows this year, that provide so much happiness to our Sun Lakes residents. The Chordaires, like many Sun Lakes groups, took a hit during the pandemic.
