Sun Lakes (evening) Lions Club members Linda Gruver and Floyd Mullen are shown delivering Thanksgiving food items and $600, which were provided by the club and members recently, to AZCEND, Chandler food bank. The club also provides substantial financial support during the year.

Lions Club International sponsors a Peace Poster competition annually. Our Sun Lakes Lions Club evaluated 16 posters from Chandler Unified School District students, ages 11 to 13. Our winner was Madison Herbert who attends Shumway Leadership Academy. Her poster will be submitted for state and possibly national competition.
Sun Lakes Lions Foundation
The Sun Lakes Lions Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports several community charitable organizations, including Neighbors Who Care, AZCEND food bank, Sheriff’s Posse, Veterans Stand Down, Veterans Volunteer Services, Hope Women’s Center, vision screening, the blood bank, and others. Our Fly the Flag program funds this support!
