Sandra Givens

Sandra Givens, Sun Lakes resident and author, has just released her new book, It Started with a Kiss, available on Amazon as a paperback or in the Kindle format.

This book is about a young woman’s desire to find true love and happiness. Abandoned by her longtime friend for a girls’ trip, Julia Clark decides to make the best of it and go anyway. She’s not too concerned, since her job has her traveling alone all over the world. Still, being single on a vacation might be a little challenging, but nothing ventured, nothing gained. Soon, she finds she might not be alone at all.

Givens is a writer of contemporary romances who received her B.A. in English from California State University at Sacramento. She is a recipient of the prestigious IABC (International Association of Business Communicators) Award of Excellence. Her book Running Horse Ranch was published in 2018, and Maui Christmas in 2020. Also published in 2020 was her novel Second Chances. Love at the Ranch was published in 2021 and follows the characters from Running Horse Ranch. Night Flight to Paris was published in 2022. Danger in the Desert was published in 2023. Her short story, Life with Auntie, was published in 2013. A native of California, Givens has traveled extensively and now lives in Arizona.
