August 13 – Dr. Yuri McKee: First Person Account of a Joint Recovery Operation in North Korea
Dr. Yuri McKee is a local ophthalmologist and former Air Force flight surgeon who has a deep interest in the status of Korean War missing-in-action servicemen. Drawing on insights as the Medical Director for the 35th Joint Recovery Operation into North Korea in 2004, Dr. McKee will describe the experience of negotiating with North Korea officials. Don’t miss this first-person account of an historic event.
August 20 – John McCarthy: How to Increase your Effective Dividend Yield on Stocks
Presenter John McCarthy has 50 years’ experience in using options. He will show you how to increase your effective dividend yield on stocks using “covered call option writing.” Learn to conservatively double (or better) your returns. This technique works in rising, declining and flat markets. In times of uncertainly or changing stocks, John’s advice will be “golden” for those who want to increase their effective dividend yield!

Join Marilyn Pickens and her colleagues from Sun Lakes United Methodist Church as they toured the Holy Land in Spring 2018. Through narrative and photographs, Marilyn will take us on this amazing trip from Tel Aviv to Bethlehem through historic places and sacred locations. If you have not visited this part of the world, Marilyn’s pictures and narrative will take you there without ever leaving Sun Lakes!
