For the past 30 years, teacher and choreographer Lorraine Twitchell has directed and danced with the Silver Foxes and has been the director of The Dance Center of Sun Lakes and SunBird. The Silver Foxes, under the direction of Lorraine Twitchell, celebrated another successful performance season with a dinner at the Cottonwood Country Club. Lorraine has directed the Silver Foxes since 1987. There are currently 11 members; Sharon Sorensen has been a member since 1995. The Silver Foxes are performing busily during this 2015-2016 season. They began with a patriotic program at Bella Vista Senior Living, including a homage to the specific branches of the Armed Forces.
