We hope everyone is enjoying their summer, wherever you may be spending it, but most of all, that you have remained safe and healthy!

Registration for the 2022-23 season will begin on Sept. 1 on-line at our club’s website, www.sunlakesbocceclub.com. Those interested can complete a registration form and pay the $25 registration fee, which covers the cost for a two-person team for both the first and second sessions.

The first session begins with our annual “Wine and Cheese” Kick-Off event on Oct. 30. Competitive play will begin the following day on Oct. 31 and run through Jan. 8, 2023, followed by our Potluck Awards Banquet on Jan. 15. The second session kicks off on Jan. 16 and concludes on March 19, followed by our second session Potluck Awards Banquet to be held on March 26.

We will also have several exciting member tournaments during both the first and second sessions. Our website also contains information about the club, including our by-laws, club play: how it works, and the rules of the game.

As always, all new players to the game (or those who require it) can request instruction by our Training Committee by forwarding an email to the attention of the membership director at [email protected].

The Sun Lakes Bocce Ball Club, the board of directors, and members, thank the Cottonwood Palo Verde Sun Lakes Homeowners Association and Recreation Committee, for their continued cooperation and assistance in making many improvements over the past year to the bocce courts and playing conditions. Without them, these improvements would have been impossible to achieve.
