The hurrier I go, the behinder I get. You can laugh when you first hear this and what makes it funny is that this is how it works. We can easily allow the pressures and commitments in our lives to become a driving force instead of the joy it was meant to be. At Unity we have an affirmation to put this all in Divine perspective. “There is only one presence and one power active in my life and in the universe, God, the good, Omnipotent.” The short version is, “There is only God and it is always good.” Now, right where you are, take in a slow, deep breath and as you exhale say these words, “I am one with the One.” Repeat this a few times with meaning and you will be asking the question; what’s the rush?
Sunday Celebration: Our church services are held in the Arts and Crafts room of the Sun Lakes Country Club on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Reverend Debbi Brown is our Minister. Coffee and fellowship follow the service. This fall we are learning about the Beatitudes. You won’t want to miss this.
Class: “Why’s and Ways of Meditation” led by Richard Yocum every Thursday from 10:30 a.m.-noon in room A-3 at Cottonwood Country Club, ongoing through November. This class will explore a different style of meditation each week. Expect to increase your self-awareness, develop inner peace and expansively experience different states of consciousness.

Reiki Level I Training: There will be a Level I Reiki training class taught by Lois Valleau and Catharina Cupples on November 8 and 9 from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Class will be held in Cottonwood. Contact Lois at 480-883-6699 if you are interested in attending.
