Steve Ambroso, President, Italian American Club
Viva Italia! It’s time for all Sun Lakes Italian American Club (SLIAC) members and guests to get together using social distancing and COVID-19 safety measures!
The Sun Lakes Italian American Club will be having a dinner meeting on Monday, April 5, at Cottonwood San Tan Ballroom. All tables will be spaced appropriately, and there will be a maximum of six people per table. This will allow us to properly use social distancing and COVID-19 safety measures. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for sign-in and cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Cost for the dinner will be $20. If you have not paid your $10 membership fee for 2021, please pay when you arrive for the dinner meeting on April 5. If you are thinking about joining the club and want to check us out, feel free to come to the dinner meeting as a guest. If you are a member and on our mailing list, you will be receiving an email with RSVP info on the last week of the month. RSVP must be made by Wednesday, March 31, before the dinner meeting.
We had a successful March dinner meeting with 33 members in attendance. This was our first dinner meeting in 13 months. The theme at the April meeting will be “Interactive Italian Trivia.” Are you any good? We understand that there are some people hesitant to attend meetings/dinners due to concerns about COVID-19. You are under no pressure to attend any get-togethers. The May dinner meeting will be on Monday, May 3. This dinner meeting will also be at Cottonwood San Tan Ballroom.
We look forward to a fun-filled 2021 limited schedule with fellow SLIAC members. If you have questions, feel free to email or call me at [email protected], 817-988-8809.
Grazie. Ci vediamo presto. (Thank you. See you soon.)
