Viva Italia! It’s time for all SLIAC members and guests to get together on Monday, Jan. 3, at the San Tan Ballroom at Cottonwood for our next monthly dinner meeting. All tables will be spaced appropriately, and there will be a maximum of six people per table. This will allow us to properly use social distancing and COVID-19 safety measures. There will be several tables for “singles only.” Doors will open at 5 p.m. for registration and cash bar. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. The cost for the dinner will be $20. Dinner will consist of Caesar salad, lasagna, garlic bread, and tiramisu. If you need a vegetarian or gluten-free dinner, please let us know when you RSVP.

The January speaker will be an expert on the Italian language. Classes are offered locally in Sun Lakes. Would you like to learn conversational Italian as a second language?

If you are a member or on our mailing list, you will be receiving an email with RSVP info around the 18th of the month. RSVP must be made by Friday, Dec. 31. We had a successful December Christmas Party and Raffle dinner meeting with an all-time record of 113 members and guests in attendance. Don’t get left out in the cold. Get your RSVP in early. Don’t miss out on the fun!
