Need jewelry for a new outfit, occasion, or gift? We have necklaces, bracelets, and earrings with every stone imaginable. Do you need items for your home or patio? We have wood pieces with copper accents, gourds, sculptures, and more. We have handmade tote bags, table covers, specialty purses, and handmade pottery for décor or serving. Have an empty wall or shelf? Local artists have paintings in all mediums, photographs, and wall hangings for your wall. You will find gourds, pottery, wire art, copper art, ceramics, and wood designs for your home.

Many of us have had our firefighters and medics in our homes. They are a great group of men and women. Art at the Lakes is a fundraiser to help the firefighters charities that help our community. Have a hot dog or a cheeseburger cooked by a firefighter with chips and a drink for lunch. All food proceeds go to the Arizona Fire & Medical Firefighters Charities, which help community members after an emergency when they cannot help themselves. You can also make a donation at the Donation Station to show your support.

Tom Chambers is coming to our show this year. Tom was one of the star players for the Phoenix Suns from 1981-1997. If you make a donation, he will be available to have a picture taken with you or sign his photo for you. He will be at the Donation Station next to the food prep area. Tom is also donating to the raffle two courtside tickets right next to him for the Suns vs. Oklahoma City Thunder game on March 3 starting at 7:30 p.m.

Take a break and listen to music while resting in a chair. You can visit over 90 artist booths, walking in sun and shade around the beautiful Cottonwood lake behind the tennis courts.

Want to win a great item from the raffle? Buy lots of raffle tickets. There will be wine baskets, Visa gift cards, Arizona sport items, golf and entertainment prizes, computers, Phoenix Suns tickets, and more. The raffle is worth around $7,000. All proceeds go to Arizona Fire & Medical Firefighters Charities.

Conclusion: Art at the Lakes is full of variety. The 15th Annual Art Show is on March 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with a rain date of March 9. Please mark your calendars to join us for a good time. Hope to see you there.
