We’re excited to announce that Dignity Health Chandler Regional Trauma Services is partnering with “Walk with a Doc” to get active and participate in the Walk Challenge 2020. Now more than ever, it is important to stay active and healthy!
This year’s two-week trek is a safe, virtual walk up Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, from Nov. 14 to Nov. 28. Don’t worry, no special climbing equipment is required and you don’t even need a passport!
This year we are embracing the virtual world and traveling to the roof of Africa from the safety of our homes and neighborhoods. The walk challenge is a total of 44 miles, and you will have two weeks to complete. Don’t want to walk? ANY physical activity counts … walking, riding, or even gardening in your yard! You track your progress online and can interact with other participants across the country.
The two-week challenge is $35 per person, and all funds received will go directly back to “Walk with a Doc” to further expand the program in communities across the United States!

Also, please be on the lookout for future Dignity Health Chandler Regional Medical Center “Walk with a Doc” events and walks coming to Sun Lakes in 2021!
