The Wolfe & Associates squad, managed by Tom Erpelding, rolled to an impressive 14-4 record to clinch the Lakes Division Fall title. They outpaced the second place Young Realty Team by five games. The Realtors, managed by Gary Hillabolt, finished at 9-9. The third place A-1 Golf Carts team, managed by Chris Jensen, posted an 8-10 mark while Core’s Photographers, managed by Randy Rothenbuehler, finished in the dark room with a 5-13 record. (I was going to include a funny joke about photography here, but I guess none have been developed yet!)
Dave Boone led the division in hitting with a .745 mark. The remaining hitters in the Top Ten were: Bill Gaston (.733), Doug Warwick (.716), Dennis LePore (.704), Dennis Kennedy (.677), Jeff Jay (.663), Gary Alexander (.661), Al Grefsheim (.657), Hoot Gibson (.655) and Randy Rothenbuehler (.636).
The Lakes Division Winter Session started in early January and will run through February 15. The regular season will be followed by a double elimination tournament, scheduled for February 19, 21 and 22.
