Yoga Strength

John Blair

Yoga Strength will be offered at the Cottonwood Palo Verde Fitness Center on Mondays at 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m., and Saturdays at 9 a.m.

Yoga Strength is designed for yoga practice with straps, hand weights, and medicine balls. Using breath, movement, and weights, allows the body to receive circulation of its own nutrients to become stronger and more aware.

This practice helps shake off those extra COVID pounds while invigorating and challenging yourself at a pace that works for you.

The use of props is always optional, because Yoga Strength is based around the practice of Hatha yoga. Ancient yoga movement has been used to heal and enrich the body for thousands of years. Along with pranayama, or breath, the whole body begins to function as one organ.
