Join us for our January meeting. We will be hosting several roundtables covering a variety of topics.

Most iPhone and iPad users take advantage of apps and have their favorites. Many users have found tips or tricks, such as how to stop annoying spam calls or how to recognize scam/phishing emails. Let’s learn from them.

With thousands of apps out there, no one can be familiar with them all, so this is a good opportunity to share insights and learn from others in attendance.

Even those with experience and expertise on a topic can still benefit from the experience of others. So, come ready to share and learn.

Visualize this: In one area, an experienced user is introducing an app while across the room, members are discussing how to optimize the settings on an iPhone. Questions are encouraged.

As always, our club tries to encourage questioning, as well as fun and learning, as reflected in our mission statement: “to provide a forum that is educational, supportive, and fun—where we can all learn how to get the most from our Apple devices, regardless of our knowledge level. We are a no-fee club, and our objective is to remain so.”

Join us Jan. 13 at 1:30 p.m. in the Phoenix Room, Cottonwood. We have limited space, so sign up under “Upcoming Events” on our website at sunlakesappleclub.com.

Also under “Upcoming Events,” please note that Gary Tougas and Mike Canterbury are holding one-on-one Q&A sessions (by appointment only) for individual users every Friday morning from 10 a.m. until noon (click on “Details” to learn more).
