Free Tennis Clinics Started Again in Cottonwood

Penny Petersen

Free tennis clinics in Cottonwood were a regular, weekly, event for years until COVID-19. All clinics were canceled in September for the first time ever. Now they have begun once again. In previous years, the clinics took place two nights a week. Now the clinics are only offered on Monday evenings at 7 p.m. They are still free and open to anyone who wants to attend.

Social distancing will be enforced. Only 10 players will be allowed per court, and it will be on a first-come basis. Students must bring hand sanitizer. If you have a racquet, bring it. There will be racquets available for those who do not own one. One of the other rules in the new season is, “If you feel ill or have been in contact with anyone who is sick, do not attend.”
