Sectional Tournament: Three IronOaks teams competed in the USTA Southwest Section Championships in Albuquerque.
Our women’s 7.0 team took first place and is advancing to the USTA National competition in Surprise on November 7–9.
Our men’s 8.0 team took second place in a wrenching battle that kept them out of first by a fraction of a point.
The men’s 7.0 team landed in third place.
IronOaks Tennis Club is proud of all its members who competed at this level.
Clay Court Grand Slam Tournament: IronOaks tennis courts were the site for USTA Southwest Clay Court Championships. Using the soft Har-Tru clay courts at the IronOaks Tennis Club, this unique USTA Southwest Adult Slam Series event is one of the four pre-eminent Adult Slam age group tournaments held on different surfaces (hard, clay, grass, indoor) across the southwest. We had the top national players in all divisions competing, along with our local players, totaling over 130 entries.
December 6 – Holiday Dinner Dance

Join us at the Oakwood Country Club for a sumptuous dinner prepared by Chef Mark, including Mediterranean salad, three delicious entrees and chocolate bourbon pecan pie. Dancing to DJ Jamal will follow the dinner.
