It’s time to sharpen your game to get ready for Oakwood Ladies Golf Association’s (OLGA) 18-Hole annual Club Championship! There are three rounds of competition to determine the winner of the always sought after trophy. The three tournament rounds will be February 10, 17 and 24. May the best golfer win!

OLGA is pleased to welcome Judy Darnell, JoAnn Ratliff and Paulette Zuehlke to its roster and thrilled to have past members Louise Burke, Mary Figgis, Janet Kelleher, Judith Kuse, Marilyn Morgan, Shirley Read, Carol Wilcox and JoAnn Zerwekh rejoin our ever-growing league. January 27 will be the first of four qualifying rounds for the annual State Medallion Tournament. The three additional rounds are scheduled for March 10 and 31 and May 12. Only two of the rounds are required for qualification.

The third and final period for Hole-in-One, Eagle and Birdie count is in. There was one Hole-in-One by Pat Schepp and one Eagle by Roselyn Hoiby. The Birdie count was – Flight 1: Glo Malmberg with eight; Flight 2: Cheri Curtin, Mercedes DellaCroce, Jean Hedberg and Dang Teater, all with three; Flight 3: Julie Hastings had five.
