Match play was introduced this year; the second day of play took place on April 9, the third has yet to be completed. The Member/Guest was coordinated by Ann Hammond and her committee. The gift baskets were enticing and the raffle was a big success. The play was a little longer than usual; the full field of players was the cause. Flight 1 Gross winners: Anita Hopkins and her guest Jennifer Schmitz; there was a five way tie for second. The next winners in Flight 1 were Joan Irwin and her guest Rita Healey; 2nd was Sharon Eisenzimmer and her guest Jan Keller; Flight 2 Gross winners: Colleen Mitchell and her guest Eva Gunnoe. Colleen and Delores Allard both had a hole-in-one. Congratulations Colleen and Delores! Flight 2 winners: Nelda Machutas and Bonnie Moore, Jackie Reeve and Shirley Edmiston were Flight 2 Net winners; Flight 3 Gross winners were Gwen Curtis and guest Diana Ridd; Jan Stuckey and guest Christy Thomas came in second. The Net winners were Diane Kruse and guest Helen Jeub. Greg posted the winning scores for us. Thank you to Greg, Joey and Jon for your help and Pro Shop prizes. We do appreciate your time and patience!

The Odds and Evens play on April 22 was won by the team of Sandy Patton-Joseph, Karen Bailey, Janet Baron and Kathy Bushbaum; in second place was the team of Dolly Schaebel, Carol Ruff, Ellen Bond and Carol Elliot. Carol Myers, Florence Wright; Mary Jo Stack and blind draw captured third place.

A regular scramble on April 29 netted a first place tie between the teams of Tammy Visser, Lee Sonderman, Monique Delecki and Shirley Hutchison, and the team of Jo Crook, Laverne Becker, Janet Baron and Judy Dingledine. In third place the team of Joan Irwin, Sharon Eisenzimmer, Carol Schacht and Dee Czaja. The final results of match play were posted; Flight 1 champion was Barb Smith, Flight 2: Mary Fitzke, Flight 3: Gwen Curtis. There were seven participating flights.

Fact – What does your garden say about you? Is it formal, manicured and organized? If so, those words probably describe you as well. If your landscape is quite colorful it probably reflects the colors in your closet or perhaps it’s eclectic and a little on the wild side. Well you get the drift!
