SLCT’s ‘What the Bellhop Saw’ coming this July

Marcia Stevic

What the Bellhop Saw is the Sun Lakes Community Theatre’s (SLCT) hilarious summer play – mayhem and confusion abound as henpecked Georgie and his lovely secretary Heather attempt to have a romantic evening at a posh New York City hotel. Georgie’s brother, the hotel bellhop, promises him the Presidential Suite, but fate and the CIA step in and…well, you’ll just have to come and see what happens next.

Linda Caton directs this whirlwind comedy by Billy van Zandt and Jane Milmore. What the Bellhop Saw show dates in the San Tan Ballroom are Sunday, July 20 (2:00 p.m. matinee) and Wednesday, July 23 through Saturday, July 26 at 7:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale Monday, July 7 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. in the Saguaro Room foyer at Cottonwood. Show tickets are $15 and show with dinner is $35. Mark your calendars and look for more information later this spring.
