Sun Lakes Quilting Ladies Thank Breakfast Lions

Brian Curry

The Sun Lakes Quilting Ladies want to thank the Sun Lakes Breakfast Lions Club for their yearly donation that makes such a difference to so many.

During 2020, they delivered 173 quilts to AZ Blankets 4 Kids, 27 lap quilts, and 25 placemats, to Neighbors Who Care, as well as $200 to Neighbors Who Care to fill the Christmas baskets for their clients.

“There are only 12 of us gals quilting together for 18 years, doing what we love to do. During this pandemic, we have worked from home, and we all agreed that we were happy to have something to do. We couldn’t accomplish our goals without your financial help,” said longtime member Joyce Davey.
