Our club is fortunate to have these members serve; Mary Jane has held the President’s office for eight years, Dick Haynes has served as Treasurer for four years, Nancy Sjolin as Secretary for two years, Dave Anciaux has assisted our club as Tournament Director and in the scheduling for eight years, and Wayne Taylor has assisted with the scheduling for five years. This shows true dedication and you are appreciated for all the work.

The Sun Lakes Tennis Club held their monthly business meeting on February 11. We will have election of officers for 2015/2016 at the March 11 business meeting. The nominating committee comprised of Ed Campion, Paul Patterson and JoAnn Miller will have the slate of officers for our next season posted at the tennis pavilion.
The hosts for the potluck dinner/meeting were Ed and Janet Carlstrom and Ann Dugan.
The Hot Dog Tournament held on January 17 was a huge success due to the efforts of Ed Campion, Peter Hall, Dick Haynes and JoAnn Miller for refreshments. The tournament winners were Dan Thorsen, Judy Rue and Dick Haynes. Nice going!
On January 24 we journeyed to the SunBird Tennis Club for a great fun-filled day. SunBird won the contest and we won a super day with our friends from SunBird.
On February 7 the Sunshine Tournament had us back on the courts. This was hosted by Dan Thorsen and Sandy Lind. Again this year the winning spot was highly contested. First place honors with 20 points went to Helene Mein, Wayne Taylor and Peter Hall; second place with 19 points went to Barbara Kudla, Ed Carlstrom and Dave Toews; third place with 18 points went to John Chylack, Mike Robinson and Faye Haynes.
