Nearly 60 members of the Sun Lakes Roadrunners RV Club traveled in their rigs (motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers) to Laughlin, Nevada. The mid-April rally was organized by Co-Wagon Masters Rich Pavlak, Betty Lauer, Dale Nolen and Roz Nolen. Activities featured wonderful food at happy hours, a Wagon Masters dinner and breakfast as well as an evening river dinner cruise. Members had more fun at a concert, a comedy show, a scenic boat cruise and golf. Several members also tried their luck at local casinos. It was fitting to see a roadrunner scurry among the RVs, since the club is named after this most famous bird of the Sonoran Desert.

The Sun Lakes Roadrunners RV Club held its last business meeting on May 14 and will not meet again until October 8. For more information, go to www.roadrunnersrvclub.com. Prospective members and visitors are always welcome. Have a safe and fun RV summer!
