Season’s Greetings! December already and now is the time to get in shape for the holidays. Zumba doesn’t feel like exercise, it’s more like a dance party where you can lose yourself in the music and just have fun! And then you realize, whoa! You’re burning calories and having a blast!
Zumba features exotic rhythms set to high energy Latin and international beats. Plus, I add ‘50s and ‘60s music just for the fun of it. My classes are all low impact and the steps are easy to follow. Before you know it, you’ll be getting fit and your energy levels will be soaring! It’s effective and totally exhilarating, and you don’t even need a partner to dance up the floor!
I teach two classes at Cottonwood and two classes at Sun Lakes Country Club. The Mirror Room at Sun Lakes Country Club is much bigger and we have lots of space to shake it. (Wednesday is skirt day and we really shake things up then)! On Thursday at Cottonwood I have added an extra half hour after the class for 30 minutes of just stretching. We really need to stretch more and it’s great after the class. No extra charge, it’s free! If you come to the Thursday class, be sure to bring your mat.
I have been teaching fitness forever; well, for over 35 years. I have specialized in many types: aerobics, aqua size, osteofit, step classes, weights, you name it, I’ve taught it. But I have to say, Zumba is my all time favorite. After the very first class I was hooked. I signed up right away and got certified in Basic Zumba and Zumba Gold. I’ve been teaching ever since. My goal is that you love coming to class as much as I do.
So, come on, what have you got to lose? Find a time and day that works for you.
