Members of the Desert Artists Club meet every Tuesday from 3 to 6 p.m., in Cottonwood’s Ceramic Room (A-8) to paint or create art in mediums that include watercolor, acrylic, oil, colored pencil, mixed media, collage, pen and ink, or pastel. Any artist within the three HOAs of Sun Lakes may participate. We are a casual club without regular meetings or dues.
Summer gatherings can be small, since many of us leave for second homes or other places in cooler climates. Regulars are usually back in September or October. Come, bring a friend, and begin a new art project. The room is open for us. It is a good time to think of making holiday cards or personal gifts for family and friends. Of course, Art at the Lakes, which is every March, may just be an incentive to get some of your paintings started or finished for sale.
