Visitors to the Lake Diamond Luminaria Walk together with two local businesses netted 2,452 pounds of food and $624 in cash to be donated to the Christian Community Center Food Bank!
The second full weekend in December has become a Sun Lakes tradition for many families and friends and this year was no exception. Hundreds of visitors turned out both evenings to enjoy cool, crisp weather and 1,000 luminaries encircling Diamond Lake, plus the homes facing the lake never looked more beautiful in their holiday finery. This year food for Chandler Christian Community Center Food Bank was not only collected at the entrances but two local businesses also helped collect items. Big thanks to Total Fitness Solutions, 9666 E. Riggs Rd., next to Subway and You Fit Health Club, 4991 S. Alma School Rd., at Fulton Ranch Promenade. This year 2,452 pounds of food and $624 was donated. Thank you Sun Lakes!
